MP and President of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation Ulvi Guliyev has been awarded the “Shohrat” Order.
Member of the Milli Majlis, President of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation, World and European Karate Champion, and holder of the 8th Dan black belt, Ulvi Zahid oglu Guliyev, has been awarded the “Shohrat” Order.
According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated 16 September 2026, Ulvi Zahid oglu Guliyev was awarded the “Shohrat” Order for his effective contribution to the socio-political life of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Presidential Order states:
“Guided by Paragraph 23 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:
For his effective contribution to the socio-political life of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ulvi Zahid oglu Guliyev shall be awarded the ‘Shohrat’ Order.”
For many years, Ulvi Guliyev has been actively involved not only in socio-political activities but also in the development of Azerbaijani sport, particularly karate. He is a World and European Karate Champion, holder of the 8th Dan black belt, and currently serves as President of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation.
The staff of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation congratulates Ulvi Guliyev on being awarded the high state decoration – the “Shohrat” Order, and wishes him good health and continued success in his future activities.
