Winter Seminar on Kyokushin (Kay) Senshi Karate Held

A winter seminar on the “Kyokushin (Kay) Senshi Karate” style was held at the Border Guard Sports Center under the leadership of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation.

The seminar was attended by around 300 athletes and approximately 50 coaches and instructors representing various regions of the country. During the event, participants received detailed explanations on the technical and tactical features of the style, the proper execution of combat techniques, as well as modern methodological approaches applied during practical training sessions.

At the end of the seminar, belt examinations were also organized. As a result, nearly 100 athletes successfully advanced to a higher kyu level. In addition, one participant passed the examination for the 1st dan black belt, while another successfully passed the examination for the 3rd dan black belt.

The main objective of the seminar was to further develop karate in the country, enhance the knowledge and skills of athletes and coaches, and improve the overall level of preparation in line with international standards.
