“Grand Prix” International Karate Tournament to Be Held

The “Grand Prix” International Karate Tournament will be held in Baku on April 10–12, 2026, organized by the Azerbaijan Karate Federation.

The competition will take place at the Sərhədçi Sports Center in Baku. The official opening ceremony is scheduled for April 10 at 17:00.

A total of nearly 700 athletes representing 9 countries are participating in the tournament, highlighting its high international level and strong competitive environment.

The main objective of the “Grand Prix” tournament is to support the development of karate, expand international experience exchange among athletes, and enhance the competitiveness of Azerbaijani karate practitioners on the international stage.

Within the framework of the competition, matches will be organized across various age and weight categories, and the winners will be awarded accordingly.

The Azerbaijan Karate Federation invites all members of the sports community and karate enthusiasts to follow and support the tournament.
