Azerbaijani karate athlete has won a silver medal at an international tournament held in Tbilisi

Member of the Azerbaijan national karate team Madina Sadigova has finished second at an international tournament.

The athlete competed in the –55 kg weight category at the “Karate 1 Series A” international tournament, organized by the World Karate Federation (WKF) in Tbilisi. Throughout the competition, Sadigova defeated her opponents and advanced to the final. In the decisive bout, she claimed second place, winning the silver medal.

It should be noted that the tournament features nearly 1,200 karate athletes from more than 70 countries. Azerbaijan is represented at this prestigious event by 21 athletes.
